FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Do hospitality security guards in NSW need a crowd controller licence?

Licensed venues that screen entry and manage patron behaviour require staff who hold a NSW Class 1C crowd controller licence. Static guarding roles such as monitoring a car park or reception require a Class 1A licence. We assess your venue and deploy staff with the correct licence class for each position.

Can you provide door and floor security for the same venue?

Yes. We staff the entry point with door security for ID and entry screening, and we also position floor staff to monitor patron behaviour, support bar and floor teams, and respond to incidents inside the venue. The two teams work to a single plan under one supervisor.

Do you cover responsible service of alcohol obligations?

Our guards work alongside your floor and bar staff to support a safe, compliant venue, including managing intoxicated or aggressive patrons and assisting with refusals of entry or service. They help you meet your responsible service of alcohol and licence conditions, though service decisions remain with your licensee.

Can you staff late-night and weekend hospitality shifts?

Yes. Most hospitality demand falls on Friday and Saturday nights and during late-night trading, and that is exactly when we deploy. We provide regular rostered staff so your venue sees the same familiar faces, as well as cover for one-off functions and busy periods.
